GeoAI / Remote Sensing researcher building multimodal and weakly-supervised models for Earth observation (HSI, VHR, LiDAR/point clouds).

I’m a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University (GAIM) working on machine learning for remote sensing. My work spans multimodal learning/fusion, learning with limited or noisy labels, inverse problems and efficient models for high-dimensional geospatial data (hyperspectral, VHR imagery, and 3D).

• Now: Postdoctoral Researcher, Ghent University (GAIM), Belgium.  

• Incoming: MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship (start June 2026, Université Bretagne Sud, France) on deep learning for point-cloud processing.  

• Focus: Multimodal EO, weak/self-supervision, uncertainty-aware evaluation, and representation learning for geospatial data.

• Multimodal learning & fusion (HSI + other modalities; representation alignment)

• Weak/self-supervision (noisy labels, label scarcity, robust training)

• Hyperspectral learning (classification, dimensionality reduction, unmixing)

• 3D / point clouds (learning on LiDAR-like data; structure-aware models)
